"You are the light of the world...” Matthew 5:14

Adura in Latin means light or ignite. It is also a Yoruba word that means ‘Prayer.

Our aims are as follows:

  • To pray for the city of Plymouth, its environs and the nation.
  • To radiate the light of God in our world by sharing the Good News of His Kingdom. This we do through the arts – storytelling, music, drama, dance, and other creative forms.
  • To foster community cohesion and also support those who are involved in community and missionary projects, by offering training and resources.

PROGRAMMES:

  • PRAYER MEETINGS: 1st Thursday of the Month @ 7pm
  • OUTREACHES: Adura ministries collaborate with creative organizations in the region to put together events like Live Storytelling, Conferences, Trainings, Concerts, and Shows. Our programs bring together people from various backgrounds and age groups.
